Wrap 45 by Selmi is a compact packaging machine designed for packing both food and non-food products in sealed bags, ready for shipping or display.
It is engineered to handle loose, fragile, delicate, small, and lightweight products, such as dragées, coffee, chocolate, nuts, biscuits, pasta, and similar items.
The 45° inclined loading system allows rapid top loading and ensures a gentle product descent into the bag, minimizing the risk of breakage or deformation at the bottom.
The machine supports multiple packaging formats, providing high application versatility to meet product presentation and marketing requirements. It is designed for the production of pillow bags (flexible cushion-shaped packs), stand-up bags (self-supporting bags with a flat bottom suitable for shelf display), and bags with eurohole for hanging display systems.
Compact yet high-performing, the Wrap 45 ensures efficient and reliable packing of loose products or multi-pack formats. Its independently moving cutting blade also allows the creation of MULTIPACK configurations.
As with all Selmi machines, the Wrap 45 is designed for ease of use, cleaning, and maintenance.
The machine is compatible with automatic loading lines, making it ideal for space-constrained environments without compromising on performance and functionality. It is compatible with a wide range of packaging materials, including PP, co-extruded films, aluminum, and paper, ensuring maximum application flexibility.
The machine features an integrated thermal transfer printer, allowing direct printing on the packaging of variable text and graphics, such as expiration dates, batch numbers, company logos, and flavor or product variant identification. It is also equipped with a photocell for registration mark detection on customized films, ensuring precise and consistent printing alignment.
Constructed entirely from stainless steel (INOX), the Wrap 45 combines design, precision, and reliability, making it a professional packaging solution suitable for high-performance production environments requiring ease of use.
The Wrap 45 can be paired with the Dosing Pack accessory, a dosing system designed for precise weighing and controlled dispensing of loose products. The Dosing Pack features load cells and vibrating chutes, ensuring accurate and consistent portion control.
It is suitable for a variety of loose products, including nuts, chocolate, coffee, dragées, biscuits, and frozen fruit. Products can be loaded into the top hopper manually or via automatic end-of-line feeding, providing maximum flexibility and integration into production lines.
